Instagram’s New Add-Yours Feature: What You Need to Know

Instagram is an indispensable part of social media campaigns these days. Many people have an account on this social media platform and use the app daily. The “stories” are a hot item and typical of Instagram . Several new functions have been added in recent years and this month it is time again: the Add-Yours function is now available to everyone. What exactly does this function entail and how can you use it as a company? Read on to discover the possibilities.

Your turn – how does it work?

The Add-Yours function is called “Your turn” in the Dutch version of Instagram. It actually works very simply:

Create a new story as usual
Add a photo that matches the prompt you plan to use
Click on the “stickers” icon at the top
Click “Your turn”.
Write a prompt on the screen that appears (you can generate random prompts using the dice)
Click on “done”
If necessary, move the sticker to a suitable place for your photo
And share it
Once you’ve shared it, your story will appear in your story. People who view your story can click the “ Add your own content” button and then share their own photo that matches your prompt. The story will be visible in their own story, but you and your followers will be able to see it too: when you or someone else in your story clicks on the sticker, phone number library you can see who has already commented on it and also view those stories. So the comments are nicely grouped together and easy to find.

Is Add-Yours interesting for me?

Using the “Your Turn” feature is a fun way to connect with your customers. Do you sell lunch boxes?
